The development of individual brain starts in the foetus stage. Early brain development process starts within three weeks of conceiving. It is true that the process of brain development starts at an early stage but this continues till the conclusion of life.

The development of the brain depends on the events that take place in the brain. These events are also responsible for storing all the remembrances and information. This process is a life long process also it never halts. Everyday, the human brain stores more and more information and there is no way it can actually come to a stop.

The brain develops in two stages. The first stage is called prenatal phase. At this stage the early brain development commences when the baby is inside the womb as a foetus. The brain commences to work before the baby comes into the world. The particular second stage of development starts after the delivery of the child. This is called the postnatal stage. It is also an early brain development period of the baby.

Scientists say that the brain of a child is very much impressionable or plastic. It means in the early brain development stage the brain can memorise and learn more than adults.

In the later stage the brain slowly looses its plasticity. For this reason a human being can not easily remember everything he or she discovers in adulthood. It is the early stage of the mind that is very vital, more than any other point of time in life, for regarding the intellectual and emotional faculties.

It is during the earlier brain development process that hundreds of important connections get built that goes on to decide the potentials and skills that the child will have in the life.
